As the Editor in Chief of Porch & Parish, Jen Gennaro leads a dynamic media platform dedicated to uplifting and inspiring the Zachary community. With a focus on showcasing the people, businesses, and traditions that define the city’s excellence, Jen has spearheaded the creation and curation of engaging content across online, print, and podcast channels for nearly three years. This effort has successfully reached thousands of readers and listeners monthly.

Driven by a deep passion for preserving and revitalizing Zachary’s rich historic and cultural heritage, Jen and her husband Mike are  currently undertaking a transformative project. They are converting an old Victorian house in Zachary’s historic district into a vibrant community hub named The Press. The space will feature several premier first-floor tenants, further contributing to the city’s cultural and communal growth.
