Jenni is the founder and majority owner of Varsity Sports Baton Rouge, Varsity Sports Mandeville, Varsity Sports New Orleans and Varsity Sports Lakeview New Orleans.In addition, she is the owner and partner of Dream Silk Screens.

She was inducted into the Pi Sigma Epsilon Sales and Marketing Educator Hall of Fame, selected as the Baton Rouge Sales and Marketing Executives Marketer of the Year in 2019, named one of the Influential Women in Business by Baton Rouge Business Report and given the Sales and Marketing Executives of BR Lifetime Achievement Award.

In her career, she has ran in the first ever Olympic Marathon Trials and has been ranked amongst the top 20 women in the world by Track and Field Magazine, leading to her induction into the New Orleans Track Club Hall of Fame and recognition as a Cox Conserves Hero in Louisiana. Additionally, Peters served on the Junior League Advisory Board, BREC Foundation Board, and is currently part of the YMCA Foundation Board.
