Gabrielle Deculus

Founder, Saint Josephine Consultants, LLC

Gabrielle Deculus is a highly accomplished marketer and entrepreneur who has made significant contributions to her community over the last 15+ years. She is the founder of Saint Josephine, a marketing and production company that helps progressive brands connect and engage with their communities through creative campaigns, strategy, events, and programming. She has produced campaigns and events for a variety of organizations, including Refinery29, Black Is Brilliant, Beaucoup Hoodoo Fest, Black Education for New Orleans, Habitat for Humanity, City of New Orleans, Converge Consulting, Knights of Peter Claver, Step Up Louisiana, Gary Chambers, and Business Rules for Women. In addition to her work with Saint Josephine, Gabrielle is also the founder of the NOLA Zydeco Fest and Foundation, which aims to preserve and promote zydeco music and culture in New Orleans. She has been recognized for her disaster relief efforts by Beyoncé’s Beygood Foundation and Essence Magazine for responding to flood damage and mobilizing recovery efforts in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2016. Gabrielle has also received a Proclamation in Baton Rouge for “Gabrielle Deculus Day” by Mayor Holden and Mayor Broome, and in New Orleans for helping service the community through the National Black MBA Association (2019). Gabrielle is noted as a Prairie View A&M University’s Inaugural 40 under 40 honoree and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. She co-facilitates the Ignite Social Change Retreat, a weekend event for changemaking college students from across the country, a program of the Sullivan Foundation. She has also led conversations for multicultural campaigns with AARP and the BeYourOwnBrand (BYOB) Retreat. Gabrielle was elected as the Step Up Louisiana Organizing Fund 501(c)(3) Board of Directors President/Chair in April 2020, an organization that organizes for education and economic justice.
